Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu – Welcome to the Capital
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. As Nepal’s capital and the cultural heart of the country, Kathmandu sits in the historic Kathmandu Valley, a region rich in tradition, art, and architecture. Interestingly, modern Kathmandu comprises two historic cities—Kathmandu and Patan—each offering its own unique charm and heritage.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Cultural Heritage Tour
Begin your day with a visit to one of Nepal’s most important Hindu temples, Pashupatinath, situated along the sacred Bagmati River. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a major spiritual center dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath and draws countless devotees and sadhus year-round.

Next, explore Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and an important pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. The spiritual atmosphere, fluttering prayer flags, and spinning prayer wheels make it a captivating experience.

Continue your journey to Patan (Lalitpur), an ancient city renowned for its stunning Durbar Square, a showcase of traditional Newari architecture and historic temples. While in Patan, visit the Tibetan Refugee Center, where you can watch artisans weave traditional Tibetan carpets—a perfect place to shop for authentic souvenirs.

Conclude your day with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the “Monkey Temple.” This ancient Buddhist site crowns a hilltop with sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley and is marked by its iconic all-seeing Buddha eyes painted on the stupa.

Day 3: Drive to Chitwan – Into the Wild
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to Chitwan, located in the lush lowlands of southern Nepal. Known for its dense forests and rich wildlife, Chitwan National Park is one of Asia’s premier nature reserves and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon, experience an unforgettable elephant-back safari, offering the chance to spot exotic wildlife such as Asian one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, Gharial crocodiles, and over 500 species of birds. Overnight at a jungle resort.

Day 4: Chitwan – Jungle Adventures

Day 6: Departure – Farewell Nepal
