Day 2: Spiritual Heritage Tour – Kathmandu
Begin the day with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu pilgrimage site located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This revered temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, serves as the spiritual seat of Lord Pashupatinath, the national deity of Nepal.

Today’s journey takes you to Patan (Lalitpur), known for its rich architectural beauty and artistic heritage. Just across the Bagmati River from Kathmandu, Patan’s Durbar Square is home to an incredible concentration of temples, courtyards, and palaces. The area is also known for the Tibetan Refugee Center, where visitors can browse handcrafted carpets and local goods.
